9/21/2023 0 Comments Bv 238 war thunder tech tree![]() The Allies were concerned that Hitler could use it to escape to South America and so an attack followed shortly afterwards. However, according to German Sources, based in part on the testimony of nearby inhabitants and Blohm & Voss employees– claim that the BV 238 V1 was discovered by the RAF between 23 April and 26 April 1945. The Bv 238 never saw active combat and was (according to american sources) destroyed by a P-51 Mustang of the US 361st Fighter Group while being docked on Schaaslsee in September 1944. Only 1 Bv 238 was built and flew on the 11th March 1944 (2 more prototypes were incomplete and never were completed). Unlike the Bv 222 which had an impressive size, payload and armament but had no offensive weapons like bombs or torpedos,The Bv 238 delivers all that the Bv 222 left to wish for. ![]() It was the heaviest aircraft ever flown when it first flew in 1944 in aviation and was the largest aircraft produced by any of the Axis Powers in World War II. The Blohm & Voss BV 238 was a German flying boat ("Flugboot") designed in the World War II. In this thread I will show you a German float plane that you may have seen/heard of but didn't know it was this plane. I think Germany should also have it's own float plane(s) just so it's not the only nation that doesn't have them, and let's face it,they might not be the fastest, best or effective aircraft, but everyone loves flying boats because of that, they are just fun to play with no matter how slow, big, derpy they are. Germany had some pretty impressive float planes but they aren't getting much attention as much as they deserve. In the recently released German tree, float planes are not mentioned. My friend researched the whole German tree with the TA 154.Hello dear Forumers,Pilots,Tankers and Community! Today I'd like to propose a German aircraft, specifically a float plane. Plus it's Tier 3 which will carry your research to jets. Because it still flies straight and guns still work perfectly.įor the money I would recommend a TA 154, its really OP right now with the canon buffs and its got lots of cannon, and didn't get a BR raise despite the huge damange buff. The plane the most likely to get air kills after it is dead. Weirdly everything this patch gets its tail shot off really easy.īut there is a bug that the BV keeps on flying pretty straight with no tail. Originally posted by John Squid Con:Total piece of crap, premium plane that costs 10k for repairs, I don't know how to profit on it when you get shot by fighters after like 2 mins in realistic battles at 5000m in half way, it has terrible tail and wings health and useless ai turrets, which after maxed see targets from like 10m, only one advantage is that it can carry 20x250kg bombs, I had only a little of unique situations where I delivered all bombs to targets, most of people camp up here waiting for some free money, so I regret buying it.īut it's still annoying as an allied pilot because a couple BVs can win the match in minutes. It is also a little bit unestable when u shot him at only one wing, thats one of the weakest part of this bomber. In the other hand, they have 6 engines so if they lose any of them, it wont go down like other bombers. Yeah thats true but there are a few pilots who think in that and they just attack from behind or the top. ![]() Bv-238's have no defensive turret under which makes me an fw-190 pilot just strafe below him and strike one or two of his engines and them being a slow target makes them the best thing to aim at. nahh seriously, u should buy cuz in my opinion, thats the only low-mid BR bomber that doesn't need any cover or support. Thats why i would really recommend it if u like to fly bombers whithout doubt but if try to fly that plane and i see u in SB, i wont have any problem to take u down whith my american, soviets or british planes hahaha. I dont have that plane, i can say i hate them but they are very good against any planes, they have defensive turrets everywhere, and it can win a game without any help.
